Bill Hasey

Bill Hasey, President of Bloomfield Construction Inc., is a man with 20/20 vision. For over 40 years and in over twenty-eight communities, Hasey has been building some of the most beautiful homes in South Florida. His vision of market trends, in both housing growth and design, has positioned him well, allowing him to consistently be ahead of the curve.

Though a native of White Plains, N.Y., Hasey lived for 23 years in the Bloomfield area of Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Economics. From 1967 to 1973, Hasey worked for IBM in sales and sales management. From 1973 to 1980, Hasey worked for Meyer Laboratories, which was acquired by Glaxo. Hasey was Vice-President of Sales for Glaxo in the United States.

Hasey formed a real estate investment and property management firm in the early 80’s and eventually included residential construction. “For over 40 years, we’ve been involved in every facet of real estate,” Hasey said, “from land use to development to building.” Hasey points with pride to his representation in many of the most prestigious South Florida residential communities.

In the 1990’s, Hasey Properties (Bill and his brother, Marty) developed the Lake Estates section in St. Andrews Country Club., which consisted of forty-eight lots averaging over $400,000 per lot. This very successful development’s sales at completion were approximately $90,000,000. Both building homes and investing in property, Hasey understands both sides of the real estate coin. As a result, he can work with buyers to maximize their home’s value in a competitive resale market. He can also find the premium homesites on which to build his own masterpieces and his client’s dream home.

Although he has received many awards for his custom homes, Hasey’s most significant achievement is the long list of satisfied clients who have referred him to their friends. “There is no greater achievement than to make clients so happy that they want to share their enthusiasm for our product,” said Hasey.

He purchased vacant land in the hope that his sister would move down. She never moved, and Hasey decided to build a home on the land and sell it.
