Though a native of White Plains, N.Y., Hasey lived for 26 years in the Bloomfield area of Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master’s Degree in economics. From 1967 to 1973, Hasey worked for IBM in sales and sales management. From 1973 to 1980, Hasey worked for Meyer Laboratories, which was acquired by Glaxo in 1978. Hasey was Vice-President of Sales for Glaxo in the United States.
Hasey formed a real estate investment and property management firm in the early 80’s and eventually included residential construction. "In the past 27 years, we’ve been involved in every facet of real estate," Hasey said, "from land use to development to building."
